I'm not currently a BMW owners, but I've been looking around for a '00 or '01 530d with M-tech kit and an auto 'box.
Just wondering what are owner's experiences with this car. I'd be looking to get one that had the engine upgrade in early 2000, so have there been any problems with this engine? Anything I should look out for when scouting around?
What would your average MPG be on a car like this?
Is it as good as people say it is?
Any comments on depreciation for a car this old?
I'm looking for a 60k-70k miler, so I'm wondering if depreciation will hit me big time if I add 40k to that clock.
All your thoughts and comments would be greatly appreciated.
