1997 740iL Is it worth fixing?

I have a 1997 740 iL that I picked up a few months ago for dirt cheap. So far its running like a champ but now its starting to need some repair. The car now has 154200 miles on it. It needs about 3k in repairs.

Here is list:

Pass Airbag
Power steering hoses
control arms, and bushings
Stabilizer bar bushings
intake manifold end cover
drive belts
water valve

So does 3k seem like a decent price? I comes out to $1200. parts and $1564.00 labor, tax around $300.00......Im not one that really like's to work on my this car so im at the mercy of the repair shop.

Any feed back is appreciated.

Since no one responded I went ahead and paid for the repairs...was well worth the money...like a new car....event had the door dings removed and had it detailed.

I know it's late; but that seems a little high. Then again, I'm not too sure on that car; it just seems like a lot for the parts that were being replaced.

But if it's driving like a new car, $$ well spent.
