Hi,
I have a 2006 330i (no iDrive, and 18.600 miles) and sometimes
in the morning the radio does not start on if the motor is not
running. when pushing the Radio On button, the Radio display lights
up for a couple of seconds, and goes off. If I start the engine then,
the radio works OK but sometimes the dash Battery Light is ON for a
few seconds then goes off.
I made an appointment with my BMW service dealer, but I’d like to know
about similar experiences as I have already been to my dealer for
this problem a month ago but did nothing![[nono]](/images/smilies/icon_smile_nono.gif "No No [nono]")
as it worked fine when checked.
My concern is that the battery may be about to die, or the alternator is
randomly failing, but nothing will be done until it actually dies.
I’ll really appreciate all the info or help I can get.
