undefinedHi

I have the subject car, which runs like a panter. The only problem is when i switch on the lights, the left hand automatic motor of the head light starts making noise, which is constant. So now i have disconnected it from its plug.
Anyone who had the similar problem in his car could help me out as how to check it first and then get it done. IS the motor faulty or what is it?

Worm regards

welcome to the board,

i think u meant it runs like a panther right? a panter is someone who pants a lot eheheh

there is no "motor" for any of the headlights. i can only assume that you have xenon
lights, and the ballast is making this noise?

the uae had different spec cars than we did here in teh usa, please explain a bit more...

Thanks for your quick reply. Well my car is UK specification. recently this is coming from Japan, now i am the first owner in UAE. So it is not UAE specs.
Well regarding the xenon i am not sure about that. The car is also having a nob in the dash board with which one can adjust the head light. The right side of the light goes up and down whereas the left one is not moving from its place. i thought its the motor which is giving a constant sound from the left side so unpluged it from its socket. maybe if i try to replug it may work.
Any guide line. Pl mail me up
