Well I've had my Bmr for over 3 months now and have put about 5K on it so far without any real trouble. now the previous owner told me not to slam the trunk but I know the motor that lowers and locks into place is out of whack. I cannot get into my trunk and need to. I've tried with the key in the ignition and pushing the button. My display keeps telling me my trunk is open but I'm sure it'll go away after I get into it and replace the part. My questions are
1. how do I get into my trunk since the motor will not full release the bolt it locks into.
2. website showing how to replace. I'm pretty handy so i'll probably tackle this myself.
