I have a close friend that is offering me a BMW 328i 4 door sedan for $6000. The car is in great shape. I have known him for years and hes known to take good care of his car. the private part value on kbb.com is 6750 i believe and the trade in is like at $5800 i think. The car is kept in great condition, leather looks good, paint looks good. its dark green.. is this good for 6000, or am i gettin jipped or wut. share some thoughts.

That seems like a really good deal plus you know the guy and you know hes taken good care, but also how many miles does it have like f1racer77 said

At least you would know the car's recent history. Sounds like a good deal to me providing it has resonable miles. The question is, do you think it is worth it. KBB is only a guide. You can't buy a car from KBB, so what the hell do they know. Check out autotrader.com and cars.com to see what cars like that are going for. Good luck.

...Generally I don't like getting involved with business sorts of deals with family and/or friends. If something goes wrong, you know who to go after so to speak and it causes more problems later. Just my personal experience and opinion.
