I was just wanting some thought on whether or not my 1995BMW 325I which is automatic and a convertible would make a good street racer? Because i was not sure whether being manual or auto had that big of a difference. Im not wantig to get hardcore like reinforcing the struts and stuff, but i want an air intake and maybe a chip. but i might get more in the future, and i wasn't sure if it was worth my time. and what might be some of the better upgrades to get? Ya these are kind of stupid questions but im setting in school bored so ya. [xx(] [thumb]

Not worth it to make it a "street racer." You have the heaviest version of the 3 series (convertibles are heavier than sedans and coupes) with the second smallest engine available in the US at the time and with an automatic. This is not a good formula for speed.

if you wanna street race [nono] [screwy] your gonna want to get a rolling start or a car length or two at the begining.
nitrous might be the best way you can go i'd just try and hide it really well so nobody can see the bottle, microswitch or nozzle then you'll have some fun.
