here is a link to what my knob looks like currently: http://caudiophile.com/interior.htm

this is what i want it to look like: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...tegory=33703&item=2466367289#ebayphotohosting

i dont like handle i have on there know, besides, its all cracked up. i like the actual knob look and feel. do they make a knob for the automatics? i was just gonna buy one like that on ebay, but without the gear infprmation on the top, but i am afraid to put one on, becasue after experimentiong at low speeds, i realized that without the locking handle like i have now, i could accidently bump it into reverse while moving formward. unless there is a speed block besides the button handle. any ideas?

A few come up on ebay from time to time. I have a burlwood one on my car. I am looking for a carbon fiber one right now. Beckkers sells some but they are very expensive. I just can not see dropping that much on a shift knob. Thing about ebay is most of them look like they will not work. I have heard that a manual knob can be fitted to the automatic trans but this will screw up the reverse lock out safety mechanism. Not sure 100 percent on the manual knob fittiment though. I was reading a post about it somewhere. If I find anything I will hook you up though. I have seen a few burlwood earlier model t-handle shifters out there, I just do not like the t-handle look. There are some replacement ACS style ones.

Guess not bad for 35 bucks if you like the t handle style. Hope this kinda helps ya a bit.
