beeping when unlocking and/or locking

how do u make a 06 330ci beep when locking or unlocking it? is there another way to do this without taking it into the dealership????

Audible unlocking

Hi there,

I don't think it's possible to activate the audible acknowledgment of locking/unlocking without changing the "Car/Key Memory" or CKM... which, I think, can only be done @ the dealership thru programming.

also, i know that 2007 and 2008 years, u can do all that from inside the car without taking it in 2 the dealearship.@!!

Hi there,

As a postscript, I think you've got to have an alarm system installed (OE or aftermarket, I'm not sure), to have the "chirp".

the alarm is installed, but the morion sensor isnt working. any iodeas? its going into the shp 4 its 1sst service in about 880 miles,. which is about 3 weeks on how often i drive it.
