Black Moulding around doors/windows

Hi there,

I have a 98 328is, and the black moulding around the doors and windows is peeling off and showing some grey and white color underneath. [mad]

I know the e46 have the silver/chrome thing around the doors and windows now, most likely because this black moudling thing peeling off was an issue. What do you guys do about it, can it be fixed, or do I just have to leave it and let it be? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

the window trim would be more work.

How much does it cost to replace?

Maybe you could use Back to Black on the door moldings and just replace the window trim.

Do you have any picture of your moldings so I could see how bad is it.
