I recently recieved an inbound call through my Assist system. Since I do not have an integrated telephone I was surprised when my car started ringing. The call turned out to be a some guy trying to call a friend but the number plugs to my Assist unit. Can the Assist unit be used for both inbound and outbound calls or do you need to purchase the seperate integrated phone system. My last X5 had the integrated phone option but I could not move the phone at trade-in because it was the earlier model. I didn't want to purchase the phone system without bluetooth capability so I have been struggling with my hand held.
