Hi all this is my first post in this forum! I hope you can help.......I drive a e36 316i compact '97 (M43 engine) been loving my car but it has developed a serious bunny hopping issue when pulling away in first gear. As i pull away no matter how many revs i give it, it jerks me around like a bucking bronco - the more revs the more violent! All the other gears are fine and experience no problems at all! Although I seem to get away with it a bit when I am more generous with the clutch I still believe its more of an electrical issue. The idling is fine and steady, I have already cleaned up the AFM, and plugs with no change, so now i'm considering buying a new probe for the AFM, a new lambda sensor and fuel filter......anyone know of any other likely possibilities before i start getting my wallet out??
