It's a '95 with 128,000 miles worth of salt, small stones, etc. Looks clean but wonder how to make the covers look clearer?
Also- California Duster is getting filthy-best way to clean it, or toss?
Thanks (need a duster when the color is black!!!)

I believe McGuiars and Mothers both make a plastic polish that's ideal for polishing headlight covers. Its also important to treat it with a wax after the polish.

Thank you! I was tempted to try silver polish- don't laugh! I used it with good results on Miata's rear plastic window! I was just concerned with the heat of bulbs.

Thanks- I like Mothers Carnuba wax-used it for years, but I fell in love w/ McGuiars just last year.
In the interest of trying to save a buck I think I'll test a small corner of lense with silver polish, I'll keep you posted. I suppose I should wax afterwards? You guys aren't worried about heat from lights?
Don't mean to seem dense-it's my lot in life-I accept it.
