Well i plan to buy a E39 530d Touring car from 1998 automatic gearbox. The car has 230.000 kms ( 140.000 miles) and for me i have some questions i would like to have answered:
1) what shall i look for when going for maintenance in such a car with that kms
2) with an automatic gearbox with such kms....will it be as good as a manual gearbox...i mean...i know that automatics sometimes broke first than manuals....but i also know they can last forever.....till 400000 kms without no problems....
3) so what can i expect to change for the next 10000 kms or more in terms of maintenance....
