i've notices recently that my car has been having issues starting the past two weeks. it's like i have to hold the key in the starting position a couple of seconds longer for it to turn over. i know that my alternator is pretty aged, but could that be the problem? anyone have an answer?

Probably dirty and/or bad injectors... add some chevron techron (available at any auto parts store and walmart) to your next tank of good gas, and it might/should fix it.

yeah, i notice sometimes it takes a half second longer to start, but the last couple weeks my car has popped up the instant the starter fires, kind of strange. injector cleaner is definately a thought, but also give it a week or two, the weather is changing fast could be effecting the smallest of things.
