Well, recently I've been noticing when i rev my '18 in neutral the car tilts to the right ever so slightly, which didnt used to happen before. When the car is driving it is obviously not noticable, but only revving at a standstill (and seemingly only in neutral - it doesnt do it when i am in gear with the clutch disengaged) i, along with friends have noticed this and im not really sure what the problem could be.

You should try this in my E34, tilts a LOT... let alone a muscle car. Sounds like your suspension is 14 years old and is now starting to show. The reason it tilts like that is because of the heavy flywheels bmw started using on the e32's and all newer cars since then. My car has a 32 pound flywheel. [screwy]

Holy hell.... well, the good news then is that im getting a clutch/flywheel kit in a couple of months time so maybe that should be a load of her shoulders. I will definately get all 3 engine mounts and my springs checked out, hopefully nothing too expensive if its any of those. I had a feeling it could be the mounts seeing as though the engine was a refit, and my mechanic did mention that one of the mounting points needed some modifying to fit the '97 motor in there.

Cheers for pointing me in a few directions for me to look in to see whats goin on =).

. On another note I got the whole body redone so all the rust should be disappearing altogether (the car is still in Montreal with the guy whos doing it, it should be ready by midweek, cannot wait!!), its going to look pretty sweet. I also picked up the euro spec light kits for the car so byebye to those horrid orange indicators very soon. Lots of work, too little time eeesh!
