What have you guys done when it has came time to replace your cats? OME replace is about 1400 bucks. Aftermarket is about 600 bucks. One local shop said he can weld in universal replacements for a lot less. Can these pipes be welded? Are should I rod them out? No EPA in my state.
i know what i would do. be aware that loose debris left in the system can plug the muffler, make sure you get it all blown out before wrapping it back up. you might need to dummy up the after cat O2 sensors if you have them?
