Charlie messed with my car

This mean guy Charlie came by and really scratched my car (I'm in FL). I have scratches all over hood, trunk and roof - neighbor's roof tiles flew off, when the wind was at a 100mph. Scratches are not deep (can hardly feel them with nail) but very visible on my jet black E36. Why me???

So has anyone used any good scratch-removing products (like Mothers Scratch Remover - or Meguires)? Please recommend the best one...

Personally I think GS-27 Scratch Remover works really well. If the scratches are not deep (as you said), the GS-27 Scratch Remover will be able to move the paint around and hopefully fill in all the scratches. If there are a lot of scratches and they are kind of deep, you may have to get parts of the car repainted. I believe Meguiar's and some other companies have some scratch removers but I find the GS-27 product to be the best choice.

Two things will help you get better answers:
-Pictures of the car where the damage has been done
-Posting this in the Auto Detailing section of the forum

Have you called your insurance company about this? It's not like this is your fault so I'm pretty sure your insurance company should help you out with the cost of the repairs if you file a claim.
