hey i have a 97 328is and i was driving and my check engine light came on. So far i dont feel any power loss or any difference in the way that the car works. Any ideas on what it could be?
don't take any chances man if its somethin serious u could fcuk the engine go check everythin, coolant level engine temp oil level, anything till ur sure its ok or find a problem but don't just ignore it
where is the obd II plug located because i want to plug in the code reader and see what it comes up. I am starting to get pretty bad gas mileage so i am thinking its the o2 sensor.
hey guys, i went to get the code reading from a local shop. It turns out that my o2 sensor (bank 1 sensor 2) is not responding. Any ideas on how to change it, where it is located, etc?
Have someone else do it. Most places will only charge you 50 bucks MAX for labor and it can be a pain in the neck to do it yourself unless you have a jack and stands and a place to work and the right tools.
