Chip Help Right Away

I tried to install a bavarian autosport chip and my car starter goes but it won't turn over, when I put the stock chip in it works. Is there something else I have to go to get this to work?

I have never heard that there are other modifications you must make before the chip will work. Sounds like it's fuel and or ignition is gone by putting in the new chip.

the bavauto power programmer? maybe you didnt get it for the correct vehicle? i dunno, i think youd be better off contacting bavauto...

well turns out supposedly I need a custom modded chip with the vin number put into the chip because the computer has a hijack protection system on it or something? Has anyone ever heard of this? Called EWSII

Yup...JC chips have a special line of chips for EWSII cars. What year is your 325i?
