Has anyone out there installed a clutch stop. I was considering the UUC Motorwerks clutch stop (www.uucmotorwerks) and have received mixed recomendations from my shop. My mechanic cautions about using these because setting the stop to high will prevent the clutch from fully engaging and therefore causing wear and tear on the clutch assembly and synchros. However, another mechanic says that they don't cause harm when properly set and will alleviate some of the leg pain when driving in heavy traffic....which I do every day. Any advice/input would be appreciated.

you dont need one. it may make it easier at first to shift...but after a week u should already know your engagment point. i mean, get it if you want to. but personally id save for a turbo... or something you will actually need.

its pretty much useless. it stops u from going to far. if u have it too much ot it is bad but u can set it properly. but u should know how far u need to push. its only 20$. but, i dont think i would use it were it free, i know how far i need to push in. plus ull need to keep adjusting it as ur clutch wears.
