Problem:
Battery dies overnight. Tested draw between Neg post and cable and it was way up there - around 12V.

Tried:

Taking every single fuse and relay out (at same time), all under the dash and knee panels, and under the hood. Still a draw. If I take one of the power cables off at night it will start in the morning.

Another weird thing is a loud beep/ding at random times. Usually once a trip - but every time at a different time after start up. Another thing that happened the other day was a clicking nose coming from the driver's side door after I looked it - it seemed like it kept trying to look, or rotate a non-rotating mirror or something.

Any ideas? Are there any common electrical problems?

I disconnected the radio, that wasn't it. Haven't tried the clock yet - it doesn't work anyway - might as well unplug it. How does one test an alternator?

Thanks.

alternator? clocks and radios are high on the list for drains like this, can you disconnect the radio and/or clock and re-test?
