De-locking

Hi there, i went to a car show at santa pod this weekend and it was great, i saw a five door E36 and it didnt have locks in the front handles, how is this done do i just get a set of rear ones to put in the front?

They are probably different sizes, but why would you want to do it

it looked a lot neater and subtle rather than the shiney lock, plus my car is black. Just a thought
