E36 body question

Is there any specific code or term for an E36 having the body kit, by that i mean the non black plastuic side skirts, front (with foglights) and back..?

Coz they are expensive to buy extra afterwards right?

I don't think alot of people understand your question. But i think the answer to your question is "NO" though.

i think the body kits were gray until 1997. then they went to the color of the car

The front spoiler, side skirts, and rear valence found on the M-3 is sometimes referred to as an M-Technic body kit, although that term is used for a number of other spoilers.

The 92 325i had grey front/rear bumpers and side skirts. 93-94s were body-colored on the top half, and grey on the bottom half and the side skirts. 95 325i (I believe) and 96-98 328i were all body colored. I think the 'is' was never all grey. 318s were grey longer, but eventually went to partial (full?) body color.

AFAIK, foglights were standard on the 325s and 328s, but not later 323s or (any?) 318s.
