Hello all.
Most of you will know this but I'm a bit lost.
I have a 1998 E36 which I have put 17 BWM wheels on the type size is 225/45Z/R17 what should the pressure be?
I drive normal alone and with my girlfriend?
Next question
Should I fit Eibach springs?

hello lee046, welcome to BMWboard.

tire pressure should be on the inside of your drivers side door. BUT since usually when people go to a 17" wheel they go to a 235/40 tire the pressure will be off. try to find a balance between the sport wheel pressure (for the 225/50-16's) and the 17" (the 235/40-17s) i run about 36 in front and 42 in the rear, and i have 235/40-17s.

If you fit eibach springs, be sure to do shocks as well. doing lowereing or sport springs alone with ruin your shocks. The bread and butter shock and spring kit for bmw is H&R springs and Bilstein Shocks.

welcome.

Ok... tyre pressure... look on the side wall of the tire... it will give you a max pressure... I set the front tires at 2 psi underneath the max.. and the rear two right at the max... gives me a little more traction up front... I got a chance to test out tires last summer for one of the big import sales stores out here... and thats what I found to be the best set up...
