Hey everybody,
I would love you all and bake you really good cookies if you can help me with my problem.
i have a 1997 318i that has 70,000mi on it. It's in good shape and just had an oil change, new tires, brakes checked, etc etc...
here's my problem.
When driving down the road, (lets say i'm in 5th) i'll be at about 3K RPM going 60mph it'll stop responding to my gas, and the only reason it stays "alive" is the rolling of the tires (much like roll starting), then it'll stop freaking out and continue as normal. These weird lil seizures last 1-2 seconds and they're anywhere from 5-30-60 seconds apart... SOMEONE HELP?!?!?!
I realize it's an engine problem, not a drivetrain problem. Air, Gas, or Electricity... not sure which one, perhaps a solenoid?
