Electric Windows

I have a 1992 325 4 door the electric windows have just stoped working no clicking,jerking or any sighn of life I was unable to find a fuse for this problem but did find in owners manuel a breaker like switch to right of the steering wheel pulled it out and there is no power at all coming to this device also the electric sunroof is not working either whats up is this common problem?Any help or ideas on what to do next would be greatly appreciated Ive got the window stuck half open

In some 325s there is a breaker switch in the dash around the radio area that disables all windows. It's rather unmarked, but when it's triggered you can see a thin red line around the button. Check to see if you have inadvertently hit it.

You have a look at the fuse diagram on the other side of the fuse cover. I replaced my power window fuse not long ago, and if I remember correctly it is a 30A.

This happened to me a while ago. Do you have power locks? If so, did they stop working too? If they did, its the same thing. The trunk lock motor shorted out and blew the fuse on mine. We just unplugged it and replaced the fuse and its been working ever since. I guess the locks and window are on the same circuit. You may to to go around and pull the plugs until you find the short.
