EVAP Leak

My 98 323 has a code showing for EVAP Large Leak detected. I'm not having any problems, but got the code checker to have a oil change interval reset tool and thought I'd check my codes. Can someone enlighten me about this code please?

sounds like you have a large EVAP leak although i dont know what that means sounds like some type a emissions system

Most Likely it is the Gas Cap!

Had the same problem - it turned out to be worn Gas Cap Seal. Try it, it is cheapest fix at this point.

Code need to be cleared after replacing the cap.

After replacing the gas cap (buy one from the dealer - not that expensive), clear the codes and make sure it does not get set again.
