can you fit a 328i exhaust on a 328iS? wats the difference between all exhausts? and is there anything really special about them or do they just add a couple horses and a loud broom sound?

I can't be sure about other exhausts, but I fitted a 328i Supersprint Exhaust on my 328is and it was a perfect fit.

Those 2 exhausts fit perfect with each other, shouldn't be much difference in sound or power if it's stock, maybe try an e36 M3 exhaust

im new to this whole shit. so you can put an anything thats e36 on any other e36? wats the difference between i and is?

IS: is a coupe, S is for "sport", supposedly they get better suspension components. someone on here might have all the details

as for using parts from other e36 models, for the most part you can, its mainly interior stuff you cant use. dont use engine stuff from a 318 though, but that's understood.

blast, not every E36 has the same exhaust.

for example do all 4 cylinders have another one as 6 cylinders. The tube is different in diameter and thickness etc.
not even all 6ers have the same system. my 323 has a different one than 328 from the same year.
you have to look for the one that fits your car. only thing is that between i and is there is no difference as far as this aspect is concerned.
