Alright, on the new 5 and 7 series we all know about the halo rings around the lights called angel eyes. You can also buy a similar item for our cars but I noticed one major difference. The real ones you can see at night while the headlights are on. These fake aftermarket ones are next to impossible to see after dark while my lights are on (mine are anyway) So I was wondering if anybody has pics of their angel eyes and would like to post them. I want to see some angel eyes that you can actually see.

that's a big problem with the angel eyes for our cars is that they don't show up very well at night and definitely not in the day. i used to have the led ones for my old 92 325 and they were crap. once you put your headlights on it's bye bye angel eyes!!!! now i have the in-pro ones and i have to say they're pretty good... here are a couple of pics with headlights on during night and day. keep in mind that i have 6000k phillips xenons in my car and the light output is extremely bright, and the angel eyes remain visible. well, only in the high beam side. if you have the money, get fiber optic!!! this is what's in the 5 series...

Still telling you guys, if I am going to do something....going all the way and getting it right with the Hella ones. Not going to drop a few C notes without getting what I want. I learned the hard way with aftermarket tail lights.....most can quote me on my failures. I love to post them so all can learn. Again, I do not drive much at night, but if I get some angel eyes...want ones that are great quality and no hassle. Hence......I wait till I get off my butt and get my dream angel eyes....plug and play, do it right and Hella quality...they do cost, but you get what you pay for.

All glass, quality....actually 400 bucks right now...just shipping hurts ya.

When I have the money to blow, might pick me up a pair, now just fixing the quirks and small leaks....routine MX is my main priority right now. But DAMN....these would look good on my BLING BLING!!!!![thumb]

carcus, those are badd ass but i don't really like the chrome housings too much. the other reason why i can't get those is because my xenons are fitted for h1 housings. those are h3s i believe. it would cost me another 400 for the new bulbs alone!!!! by the way, i got my headlamps from a seller on ebay called germanstuf4u. he sells lots of aftermarket "stock equipment" for our cars. the lamps are actually made by a company called "inpro". oh yeah, carcus, mine are glass too if you're interested in spending like 150 bucks less.

Wow seeing those awesome angle eyes makes me wish I had an E36, most likely though I'd get an E39 to accompany my trusty old E30. Angel eyes are awesome, but they look awful on the E30.

And yea I agree, BUY THE BEST! I bought some junky cheap fog lights, they look like crap, moisture gets in, and I just had to replace a bulb...[?|]

Yea, but the price seems kinda high for just rings and messing with the stock lights....if you do not have a extra as a backup......kinda makes me nervous. With electrical...I like plug and play. Been through too much ass pain with lights, leaking tail lights, leaking corner lights.....just my 2 cents.

By far, the Hella's are the best you can buy, trust me Ive shopped around. The biggest problem with them is that they are very hard to find, few US distrubiters. Some companys make the chrome side lights also so you get a good look to match the hella's instead of that odd white side markers most people have.
