The filter is located on a bracket mounted to the left hand (driver) engine mounting. You'll most likely have to take off the air ducts connecting the air mass meter to the throttle body to make access easier. Then you have to work under the car to remove the fuel filter.
Depressurize the fuel system to minimize gas in the system and disconnect the battery. Don't smoke or use anything with a flame.
