Hey guys,
quick question. My brother went to fill gas in my car the other day and the gas door would not unlock. He tried locking and locking the car, but to no avail.

He used the emergency unlock cord that's in the trunk to open the door and fill gas, but he said it's not working anymore. What would be the first thing to replace? The lock actuator? CHeck the wiring? What?

Not a terribly big deal, but I would like to fix it myself.

does nothing work or only the cap lock? if that´s what it is, the electric motor of the lock might be gone or a whire loose. first of all, do the doors open and close?

yeah, doors and trunk are fine; both still are working fine w/ the central locking system; just the gas door.

He said he checked the wires and there is current running to the motor. So I'm beginning to think it's the lock motor.
