I recently bought a black 318is and am trying to fix it up. A lot of the interior pieces are broken or missing.
The glovebox panel has become partially unglued causing problems. It doesn't shut flush because the hook piece isn't close enough to the panel. Here's a picture of what I'm talking about:
There's also a problem with it not opening fully. When opened, the lower portion of the panel is supposed to go into a little half-inch groove at the bottom. The warping has caused it to catch on the lip of the groove and bend. I can reach down and push the lower panel into the groove but this is a pain. Again, here's a picture of what I'm talking about:
I plan on regluing and clamping the panel but was wondering if there would be a specific type of glue or technique that would best suit this situation.
