Glove Box Panel Problem

I recently bought a black 318is and am trying to fix it up. A lot of the interior pieces are broken or missing.

The glovebox panel has become partially unglued causing problems. It doesn't shut flush because the hook piece isn't close enough to the panel. Here's a picture of what I'm talking about:

There's also a problem with it not opening fully. When opened, the lower portion of the panel is supposed to go into a little half-inch groove at the bottom. The warping has caused it to catch on the lip of the groove and bend. I can reach down and push the lower panel into the groove but this is a pain. Again, here's a picture of what I'm talking about:

I plan on regluing and clamping the panel but was wondering if there would be a specific type of glue or technique that would best suit this situation.

hmmmmmmmmm, I would try J.B. weld. It is like a liquid weld. It works really well you can get it at home depot and other stores liek that. It comes as 2 diff chemicals ,adn you mix them together kinda like you would for epoxy. Another alternative would be to get another glove box, which I just so happen to have a complete one for sale if you are interested. $40.00 thats the glovebox lid, and the glove box compartment bay. Let me know.

Thanks for the tips. Could you post pics the glovebox you have for sale? This one is pretty decrepit, a new one may be the better idea.

Yeah I could post some pics, but I was just thinking..........the glove box I have is from a 1997 M3, so I guess you need to find out if it will fit the 318, cuz I am unsure if they have a differn't dash setup, because I have no idea. So let me know, and if it will fit I can email you pics.
