A guy in california want to sell me a 1995 m3, for 3500 plus my 95 land rover discovery(worth around 5k-7500), he says he has a ton of money in quality racing parts and around 60k mileage, he also claims car is in tip top shape no scratches or rust.. so would it be worth it?

I'll say Hell NO. Not with your car in the deal. you'll get more on the open market for your car.

I agree with Kenny, if you sell the Land Rover first you will probably get good coin for it if she's in good shape. As for the 95 M3, they're selling out here in the Bay Area for about 10-15K depending on mods and milage. Most of them are in great shape. Finding a good e30 M3 for less than 15K is the challenge around here. e36 M3s are a dime a dozen cuz everybody's got one.

Is your Land Rover a '85 or '95? It should be worth way more money than just $5-$7k.
