Headers for e36

Do you believe in heders for your e36 or it's only a noise/cosmetic add?

headers are for performance, they add more than a different sound.

about 22hp from a full exhaust on an E36 M3

I duno understand why BMW doesn't install those little adds like de headers, if it really gives 22 hp I think it's not too many bucks for the gain.

my Z3 1.9 came with what looks like a factory header.

True for the high performance cars like the M3. it has a pretty factory installed header, but my 328 doesn't.
