Has anyone tried the Sylvania Silver Star headlight bulbs. Or if there are others out there that are better in your opinion please share. I don't want to pay too much more than $50 because eventually I want to get european angel eyes.

I have silverstars on the low beams on my 328IC, they work great, they also do not annoy other drivers. Was a nice cheap upgrade. Now, need to do something about the fog lights.[thumb]

Finally, finally finally... it seems that Sylvania has come out with the Silverstar bulbs in H7 size.

My '98 528i needs 9005 highs, and H7 lows. It will be great having the better lows, since that's what I use 90% of the time.

If anyone else has been waiting for the H7's, Advantage told me they'd get them for me by tomorrow.

I put some silverstars in my dads gmc truck, very nice bulbs, I have PIAA Xtreme White's in high beam low beam and fogs..I like them alot.
The only Drawback on the Silverstars is that they don't last as long. Sylvania's web site has it listed at only 400 hours. I believe regular bulbs lasts twice as long.

I like my SilverStars.....you can find them on sale also at most auto parts stores. Never had a problem with them and they are not cop attracting like blue bulbs that cut your vision.
