help!!! low beam failure message

finally got the hella xenon angel eye kit installed but now my obc constantly displays a low beam failure. i spoke to the guy at bekkers and he said it was because the xenon lights have a lower resitance than halogens. as a result the obc thinks the low beam is out. anybody know what i can do to solve this?

not sure... I get the same thing. I just have a habbit of always having my lights on (safety ofcoarse), so I barely see the warning (since it dissapears when they are on).

just spoke to a hella rep and he said that they make a resistor pack for the e39 that should work. the resistor pack provides higher resistance to the obc low beam relay so that it thinks its a halogen bulb. however, he's not sure if it will plug right in. i guess i'll find out in a week.
