Help needed with leather steering wheel

I am planning to install a leather cover for the steering wheel. The kit I bought looks good quality but before I start the installation I would appreciate if somebody will share some learnings from their experience ... should I use glue (apart from sawing) ... how to make sure that the leather will not have any wrinkles at the end, it's a good idea to wet the leather before installation? ...etc. Thanks a lot in advance.

I don't think you should use glue or wet it . . . it's leather it needs to breathe if you wet it it's gonna shrink the leather and maybe start to tear. I would put it on as per the instructions and then use some leather conditioner.
Give it some time to wear and and take shape.
