Everyone has been so helpful with my endless questions, thanks!

That being said, should I be concerned with buying a 1994 325i with 135K on it? The dealer wants $6900, and I am thinking I will be able to talk him down to $6000 or so. Is there anything I should watch out for in a 325 with this many miles?

Thanks a lot!

That's not a lot of miles on a '94 . I bought my '98 323 convertible last September with about that many miles on it and I haven't had a bit of trouble. Just don't fall in love with a particular car. There are many out there. Assuming it looks good and handles well, trust your instincts.

Unless you can verify that the shocks/struts, water pump, and radiator/hoses have been replaced, you should assume that they will need replacing soon or now. These items will approach $1000 - $1500 if you pay a mechanic to do it; maybe $500 - $600 if you do it yourself.

The engines are usually bulletproof. If it has an auto transmission, that's probably the biggest risk item. They are known for 100K - 150K life before problems start to appear.
