Guy's I need help. I changed a dead battery 4 days ago only to notice that my Power windows would not reach the top of the door seal (not the normal 1/4 inch (comfort switch) i'm talking about 2 inches.The switch works in both directions, Ijust stops in the wrong spot. Here's the catch.... Each time I dis-connect the battery and reconnect I lose another inch. Needless to say the windows on both sides are all the way down (and it's in the mid to low 30's).I replaced both door locks about 6 months ago so I doubt it's the micro switches. I also replaced the comfort Relay today and that dosen't fix the problem. I can hear the motor engage when I press down on both switches. I read in another post about "frontdoor window initializing or Re-initialization". Can anyone explain how this works.
