i need quick help, will this convertable m3 trunk fit my 2 door 97 328is?

this ebay guy is selling a trunk lid that i need for my e36 2 door, but mines not a convertible, will it fit? thanks in advance

I'm not 100% if the lid will fit or not (my guess is that it would), but I think if the trunk the person is selling is from a convertible, it will have the 3rd stop light mounted to it.

According to RealOEM.com the part number for a 97 M3 trunk lid is 41628119769, and the number for a 97 318is is 41628119769 so I would say they are the same and should fit! The convertible part number is different, but I believe this is only because of the 3rd brake light setup.

But you'll still have a 3rd tail light stuck in the middle... but if you're having it repainted, it'll be minor detail to remove it and fill the hole.

eh the guy selling it told me it would not fit, what a bummer, i actually thought about that third light it would be unique hahaha
