Hi.

I am in the market for a used 4 door sedan, and thought a used 325i might work.

What do you think about this? I am totally new to BMWs.

------------
Accepting offers on this car and the first reasonable serious offer will take this car. The a/c is not working however i was told that there are no leaks in the system and that it is probably the compressor. The abs light comes on due to a faulty speed sensor which i am told is inexpensive to repair. There are a couple small rust bubbles starting on the body and there are a couple dings on the exterior. One of the taillights has a small crack. This car has 211000 miles on it and gets around 31 mpg on the freeway. It has been a great car for us for the last three years and has alot of life left. The interior is in good condition and all the electronics work as they should. The car looks great.--------

My thoughts are this is way overpriced for the miles. What do you guys think?

Thanks!

Either I am missing something or you forgot to post a price? All I see is he is accepting offers. What year is this car? I see you posted in the E36 section, so I assume it is a 92 or newer? NADA value on the car is $3300 to $5500. Is is an automatic or a manual? I would consider having the vehicle inspected, if it comes out all right offer low book, considering the AC, speed sensor, rust, etc (assuming your mechanic confirms those are the problems) If it is an automatic my offer would be less than low book as that is a lot of miles for an auto.

Welcome to the board and best of luck!

Umm, oops. Forgot to post the subject of his post.

1994 BMW 325I MAROON WITH TAN LEATHER SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY ********* - $3600

Priced through Edmunds it is 1600 for a third party. It is also a manual. Sorry about the slip up.

If you are going to pay someone else to fix all that stuff, it is gonig to cost you $1000 - $1500 for repairs, without body work. With that mileage, I would not invest $5000+ in the car.
