Is the convertible trunk the same as the sedan trunk?

I was looking into getting a custom sub from another member on this board and I wanted to know if the actual trunk is the same between the sedan and the convertible. I dont think it matters but it would be the 1994 model year.

Checked your bio and didn't see which you have. A 325 convertible's trunk is basically two boxes, the larger back section is about 48 wide by 15 deep by 17 tall and the front is 32 wide by 15 deep by 10 1/2 tall. It drops to hold the top when down.

So the rear box is not as tall, 10 1/2 vs 17. I dont have the car yet, but I am hoping to get a 94 325i convertible. I believe it is a custom sub box for a sedan but im not sure where it is mounted. If it is a rear sub as I think it is, then the box wouldent fit. Thanks for the info.

OH MY!! Where do you put your club bag? Good thing I bought the 328iS instead of the convertible. I can just barely fit my club bag diagonally in my trunk.

Gutter, you can actually get in three sets if they are in the right brand of walking bag. I have a Sun Mountain bag and it sits quite flat when you spin it on it's side. You have to pull the driver from the top two sets but all go into the boot laying across. I think we once put four sets in when they were all the oblong top style bags.
