As per my earlier post, after a few hours under the hood, it's been determined the gasket valve is not the problem. My 'mechanic' (and I use that term very loosely) says it sounds like it's misfiring still, and I agree.
The next idea is the coil packs. Is there any way to check for a bad coil pack before I invest $80
