M3 tranns in a 325

Hey i just blew my tranny about a week ago, and i need a new one... . I was wondering what i need to do to make a 95 M3 tranny work (5 speed) in a 93 325. I have an Active ltw flywheel, and a M3 clutch, i also have the Active stage I short shifter. Other then the clutch and flywheel (that i already have) is there anything else i need to do to make it work?

Well the M3 and the 325 do have different transmissions. Mainly because the M3 has a much more powerful engine. I don't exactly know what is needed as far as the swap but I could ask around for ya

that would be great...i know the rear drive shaft is a 6 bolts, and the 325 is a 4 bolt..

Yeah, I just asked him today. He had to think about it but he was pretty sure it's a straight swap. He mentioned you might have to get a specially made driveshaft. Figure out if the rear end in the 325 and the M3 are the same. If they are the same then all you need is the M3 driveshaft and you won't have to get one specially made.
