On Monday I'm going to take my car in to have the gas tank replaced. In the mean time I'm cleaning it up. I am trying to make my 15 year old cars paint look better, but it is scratched, chipped, and oxidized, but overall in great shape.[rolleyes] You guys have any tips on polishing? Just asking...

aight, my cars about 11 years old now, so here I go.
If you're like me and wax often, but haven't used some really expensive stuff (I usually just bought the std. Turtle Wax) I'd highly reccomend that you use Zymol or some other good brand. It makes a HUGE difference. Granted my car has it's share of swirl marks and whatnot, but a good bit of them were either hidden or repaired as soon i as started using a higher grade wax. No it didn't make my paint flawless, but it looks hella better. Mad props for those Germans, not only for my BMW, but for the Zymol i now will be buying for my BMW.... Hope that helps.
