I found a nice set of replacement front seats for my car but my old seats are manually adjusted and the new seats are power. Can I just run a fused set of wires from any 12 volt location in the car? Would the best bet be to go right off the battery cables and route them up to the seats locations. Is there a spot under the dash where a supply might be more easily excessible and I wont have to run much new wire?

Also the front seats are from an E36 2 door coupe and my car is a E36 4 door sedan, these front seats should have no problem fitting in right.

I honestly don't know about the mounting issue, whether the seats will bolt right in or not. If you're friendly with a BMW dealer, ask them. They may know.

As for the wiring, well, usually the cars are pre-wired for just about everything, so I'd be surprised if that's not the case for the seats. You could again ask the dealer.

Perhaps what you should do is take some trouble to pull out your seats, measure the mounting distances and ask the seller to do the same for his seats. You can also look for plugs while you're under there.

Sorry, but that's the best advice that I've got.

Sounds good

Sounds like a good plan. The tracks should line up but I don't think that it was pre-wired. It shouldn't be to hard to rig it to fit in though. Still gonna ask my dealer.
Thanks
