mileage

hi,, i just picked up a 318is as my second car and want to boost the hp. i found a KO supercharger, but my question is how the mileage on the car will effect the supercharger. the car has 160k but runs perfectly. even the bmw dealer cant believe how well it runs. should i buy the supercharger or buy a new engine first.

Dont buy the supercharger. Your car will hit seiious problems if you dont rebuild the engine first.

A KO Supercharger? I didnt know they made their own brand, they just sell other brand kits. What brand is it?

I dont think it's worth it. Honestly your best option is to sell the car and look into a 325 or 328. Seeing how you just got this car I dont think you want to do that.

You cant really just slap a sueprcharger on and call it a day. What type of supercharger is it?

Theres a very very popular supercharger for people with 318's. Its built by a company called downing atlanta. Look it up, thatll be your best bet.
