motor capacity of M52

Hi

I wonder if u can give me any info of the capacity of my motor is it really 2400cc
I have a 320IA E36 M52 1997made, and since I registered it they registered as it was a 2400cc car and what I know is that it should be 2000cc.
can anybody inform since I have to pay for it every year hundreds of dollars more

dude the 320 doesn't have an M52....

but mine dear frolf come as a sport edition and it is in fact M52 (sport reats, M3 steering wheel and all M technik from outside)

Well my dear bimmians what does it have?

Body Series Mod. Eng. Cylinders HP

Coupe 320i E36 M52 6 150 HP

Sedan 320i E36 M50 6 150 HP


Remember they didnt make it in the states and it IS an E36......??? So what does it have!? Well in his signature picture he has a sedan......but BMW is notorious for making many different versions of each model in many different countries......(like my M-facelift 5er....m5 lookalike except for engine and exhaust) and confusing us even more.......so I leave this to the experts.....

(i think) e36 cars came with either m42,m43,m44,m50 or m52. but he said 97, so yeah, he has a m52.
