Hi...I've just joined the community of BMW owners and this awesome forum. I just bought a 1997 328i and love it!
However, I have noticed that I have a massive puddle of water built up on the drivers floor. I never did notice this since it's snowing here in Toronto so I dismissed it as perhaps people test driving the car with wet shows.
Has anyone ever experienced this before on their E36? I did hear the 3 series do suffer from sunroof leaks or the drainplug being clogged up. However, the dealer did notice the drain plug had collapsed about 2 inches inside the A pillar and reattached it, but I just don't trust the idea of this causing the water leak as my gut says it just may be something else. Any comments or ideas will be appreciated.

first of all welcome to the board. nice to have you around.

to your problem it is very likely exactly the reason for the puddle of water that was fixed by the dealer. i can´t think of anything reasonable elsewise. does water still appear now?

The water is still there...

only due to the fact that it hasn't had a chance to dissipate and dry. It's been real cold here in Toronto. I will keep an eye on it. Thanks for the reply.
